Following the January 2026 Memorandum of Agreement signed by the five active Caribbean CBI nations, programme structures have meaningfully converged. Citizen Sure's annual Competitiveness Index ranks them across 12 weighted criteria including cost, processing speed, visa-free reach, family inclusion, and post-grant retention requirements.
For 2026, the leaderboard is: 1. St. Kitts and Nevis, 2. Antigua and Barbuda, 3. Grenada, 4. Dominica, 5. St. Lucia. The shifts from 2025 reflect the new harmonised threshold and the introduction of standardised due-diligence protocols.
St. Kitts retains the top position on the back of programme age (since 1984), highest visa-free reach (157 destinations), and the most predictable processing window. Antigua climbs on real-estate route flexibility. Grenada's E-2 treaty access with the United States preserves its relevance for clients with US investment intentions.
