These figures are indicative estimates, not a binding quote. Costs vary with applicant circumstances, due-diligence outcomes, FX movement, and ongoing programme amendments — see the regulatory change log. Citizen Sure provides confirmed pricing only under written engagement.

Costing methodology

Real numbers, plainly sourced.

Every line is either pulled from an editor-maintained pricing row (CMS-priced) or computed from published programme schedules. No marketing math, no buried fees, no “from $X” teasers.

Government schedules

Investment thresholds, processing fees, and DD charges sourced directly from the publishing authority (CBI Units, ministries, gazettes). Updated as soon as a change lands in our regulatory tracker.

Professional rate cards

Citizen Sure fees and approved-counsel rates are published per programme. CMS-priced rows surface every line item — no aggregate "professional fee" hiding miscellany.

Path adjustments

For CBI programmes, the calculator applies a multiplier reflecting the actual cost differential between donation, fund, and real-estate routes — published with each programme.

Need a confirmed quote?

The calculator gets you to within 5–10% of the realistic all-in cost for most programmes. A 30-minute confidential consultation with a senior advisor converts an indicative figure into a written engagement with locked-in fees and a clear timeline.

Common questions

About the cost calculator.

How accurate is the all-in figure?

For CMS-priced programmes (every line published by our editorial team), the figure is within 2–5% of the realistic all-in cost. For heuristic-engine fallback programmes, expect 5–10% variance. Final pricing is provided only under written engagement.

Why does the total change when I pick a different investment route?

CBI programmes have distinct cost profiles per route. Donation routes are typically lowest, fund and real-estate routes carry adjusted government fees, registration charges, and (for real-estate) holding-period upkeep. The path-adjustment multipliers come from the published programme schedule.

What is the difference between "CMS-priced" and the fallback engine?

CMS-priced programmes use line items entered by our editorial team — every fee category itemised. The fallback engine derives an estimate from the headline investment plus published programme-type averages. Both are indicative — only an engagement letter confirms.

Does the calculator include legal and translation costs?

Yes — when the programme is CMS-priced. Citizen Sure professional fees, approved-counsel rates, translation, courier, and biometric capture are itemised. The heuristic fallback estimates these as a percentage of the headline investment.

Can I export the breakdown?

Yes — hit the Print button. The page renders as a branded one-page quote document with header, totals, line breakdown, and full legal disclaimer. Save to PDF from your browser print dialog.
