What is different from อินเดีย
TB test first
Because you are applying from India, you need a chest X-ray certificate from a Home Office approved clinic; it is valid for six months, so time it with your application.
Sponsor and salary
The role must be at the required skill level and meet the general salary threshold or the going rate for the occupation, whichever is higher, after the 2025 changes. Your employer assigns a certificate of sponsorship before you apply.
English requirement
A degree taught in English can meet the English requirement if Ecctis confirms it; otherwise an approved English test is needed.
Tax and social security
The UK and India have a double tax treaty. Their 2025 trade deal includes a social security arrangement for some temporary workers; we check whether it applies and is in force for you.

Documents and legalisation
อินเดีย is not in the Apostille Convention, so public documents need the full chain: attestation by the issuing authority and the foreign ministry, then legalisation by the สหราชอาณาจักร embassy or consulate. Translate them with a sworn translator where required.
You will usually need a police certificate from อินเดีย and from every other country you have lived in recently.
