Status of these terms

These terms of business apply to every engagement between you and us, including consultations, quotes, invoices and any services we agree to provide. By booking a consultation, accepting a quote or paying an invoice you agree to these terms. They sit alongside our website Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

Who we are

Citizen Sure is the trading name of CitizenSure Services Ltd. In these terms "we", "us" and "our" mean CitizenSure Services Ltd, and "you" means the person or organisation engaging us.

Scope of our services

We provide advisory and application support services for investment migration, including residence and citizenship by investment programmes. Our services are limited to those described in your written quote or engagement letter.

We are not a government body and we do not act on behalf of any government. All decisions on applications, approvals, due diligence and the grant of residence or citizenship rest solely with the relevant authorities. We do not provide legal, tax or financial advice unless this is expressly agreed in writing.

Engagement and consultations

Our first step is usually a paid consultation of 60 minutes with an adviser. The consultation fee is shown at the time of booking and is payable in advance. A consultation provides general guidance based on the information you give us and does not by itself create an ongoing engagement.

An engagement for further services begins when you accept our written quote or engagement letter and pay any amount it requires in advance.

You may cancel or reschedule a consultation free of charge up to 24 hours before its start time. If you cancel within 24 hours of the start time, or do not attend, the consultation fee is not refunded. Full details are in our Refunds and Cancellations policy.

Fees and payment

All fees are quoted to you in writing before work begins. Payment is due within the terms stated on each invoice. Payments above the threshold stated on the invoice must be made by bank transfer.

Government fees, due diligence fees and the fees of third parties such as lawyers, translators and couriers are passed through to you at cost unless your quote says otherwise. We may pause work while any invoice remains unpaid after its due date.

Your obligations

You agree to give us information that is accurate, complete and up to date, and to tell us promptly about any change. You agree to supply the documents we reasonably request on time and to provide clear evidence of the source of your funds and wealth when asked.

We may decline or stop work if we cannot complete our own checks, if information proves to be inaccurate or misleading, or if continuing would breach any law or regulation.

No guarantee of outcome

We cannot guarantee that any application will be approved, that any programme will remain available on its current terms, or that any timeline will be met. Programme rules, fees and processing times are set by governments and may change at any time. Fees are payable for the work performed regardless of the outcome of an application.

Confidentiality and data protection

We treat your information as confidential and share it only as needed to deliver our services, including with authorities and partner providers involved in your application, or where the law requires it.

We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

Partner providers

Where we introduce you to a partner provider, such as a law firm, developer, bank or other specialist, that provider is independent of us. It acts on its own terms and is responsible for its own services, advice and fees. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any partner provider.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, opportunity or investment value. Our total liability arising from any engagement is limited to the fees you have paid us for that engagement, less payment processing and foreign exchange costs, or less 10% of those fees, whichever deduction is greater.

Termination

You may end an engagement at any time by telling us in writing. We may end an engagement by written notice if you do not meet your obligations under these terms, if an invoice remains unpaid, or if continuing would breach any law or regulation. Fees for work performed up to the date of termination, and any third-party costs already committed, remain payable. Refunds are dealt with under our Refunds and Cancellations policy.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with our service, please contact us so that we can look into it. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and respond in full within 30 days.

Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your engagement is the one in force on the date you accepted your quote, unless we agree otherwise in writing. The date at the top of this page shows when these terms were last updated.
