Each question shows the response target from your plan or engagement, in working hours.

How an engagement works

  1. Tell us about your case

Share your goals, family and timing. An adviser reviews it and confirms which services you actually need.

  2. Personalised quote

You receive an itemised quote that separates our fee from government and third-party costs.

  3. Preparation and submission

We collect and check documents, arrange translations and certificates, and prepare the application.

  4. Decision and after

We track the case to a decision, then help with next steps such as renewals, dependants and relocation.

Frequently asked questions

How much do I need to invest to get a second passport?

Investment thresholds vary significantly by programme. The most affordable CBI programmes start from around $100,000 (Dominica) while premium EU citizenship programmes such as Malta require contributions from €600,000. Real estate investment routes and family inclusions affect the total cost. Our advisors will provide a precise cost estimate tailored to your profile and goals.

How long does the process take?

Processing times range from as little as 30 days (Vanuatu) to 14+ months (Malta). Caribbean programmes typically process in 2–4 months. EU golden visas typically take 6–12 months for residency issuance. The full path to EU citizenship (e.g. Portugal) takes 5 years from residency approval. Our advisors will recommend the optimal programme based on your timeline requirements.

Can my family be included in my application?

Yes, in virtually all programmes. Most CBI and golden visa programmes allow the inclusion of a spouse or partner, dependent children (age limits vary), and in many cases dependent parents or grandparents. Additional contribution amounts apply for family members. Our advisors will confirm exact eligibility criteria for each family member.

What is the difference between a golden visa and citizenship by investment?

A golden visa grants residency (the right to live, work, and travel in a country) but not citizenship or a second passport. Citizenship by investment grants full citizenship, including a second passport. Some programmes (like Portugal) offer a residency-first pathway with citizenship eligibility after 5 years. The right choice depends on your goals — our advisors will help you decide.

Do I need to relocate after obtaining residency or citizenship?

In most cases, no. Many programmes have minimal or zero physical presence requirements. UAE Golden Visa has no minimum stay requirement. Portugal requires only 7 days per year. Caribbean CBI programmes have no ongoing residency requirements. Malta requires 12 months of residency before citizenship is granted, but no ongoing requirement thereafter.

How does Citizen Sure ensure a successful application?

We conduct thorough pre-application due diligence on every client before any formal submission. This identifies and addresses any potential issues before they arise. Applications are only submitted when we are confident they will pass government scrutiny. A dedicated senior relationship manager oversees your case from start to finish.

Which services can I choose?

You can use us for programme comparison, eligibility checks, document preparation, application coordination, family additions and renewals. Each service page explains what is covered.

Do you work with licensed agents and lawyers?

Yes. Where a programme requires an authorised agent or local lawyer, we coordinate your case with them so you have one point of contact.

Can I use a single service rather than full support?

Yes. Many clients start with a consultation or a document review and add more support only if they need it.
